Free California Drug Rehab options

On October 17, 2009, in Drug Abuse, Drug Rehab, by Jessie

Free California Drug Rehab is a new site created to provide information on available affordable and discounted California drug rehab options. Free California Drug rehab options are available if you are willing to research and find them. Also often times you can find a state funded drug rehab alternative.

Several rehab facilities provide numbers of 80% or better cure rate but this can be very misleading as there is no true standards body set to regulate the drug rehab industry.  So each facility and provider is left to provide their own methods for determining the best way to treat a drug addict.

There are as many different types of drug rehabs from spiritual to Alcoholics Anonymous and lots in between.  Finding the right rehab for your type of addiction depends on how committed you are to becoming sober, and also which drug abuse program do you feel will provide the most support for your addiction.

There is rehab for drugs and alcohol including Heroin, Oxycontin, and other Opiate based products.  As well as rehabs for cocaine addiction, methamphetamine, and other stimulant based narcotics.  Be sure to screen multiple drug rehab facilities to confirm that they will your prerequisites as well as your budget and specific dietary needs.

The biggest thing to consider while selecting your Drug Rehab facility of choice is the cost of Drug Rehab.  Drug rehab cost is important to consider and drug rehab facility costs can range from free, to affordable drug rehab, to expensive drug rehab.  Finding the program that works for you be it an inexpensive drug rehab option, or an affordable drug rehab option is achievable if you are willing to screen the available rehab facilities.

The father of my child is a self admitted alcoholic. He just called me this morning saying that he feels suicidal and needs help. He said he wants to go to a rehab center but that he doesn’t have the money. Isn’t there something out there for people who cannot afford a pricey center?

  12. To whom it may concern:
I am trying to help my brother find a program for my 29 yr. old neice who is addicted to herion and probably other drugs. My brother has no money to put her in a rehab program. She is probably on the street now and in San Francisco. I live in Southern California and would like to find a facility so she can change her life. She has expressed wanting to try but being a Compulsive Gambler I know to well that it is not an easy task to tackle an addiction by yourself. If someone out there knows of somewhere in Southern california that can help with detox and rehab. Please get me a phone number? or information of a program that is free. We all would much appreciate your help. Thank-you Adrienne

Whatever you do DON’T go to A. Lujan Recovery in Los Banos, CA. If you do there you may never get off drugs or out of legal battles, including jail! They are one of the worse facilities I’ve ever experienced. I know at least one of the counselors had physical relations with the a clients and two of the counselors was having relations with each other. One lady went there and was given the wrong medicine which caused her to have seizures, but never took her to the doctor for help. Then they made her try to walk downstairs, and she fell injuring herself. The owner Andreas Lujan is an outright liar and thief! He makes the clients who can obtain EBT (food stamps) take turns buying food for the entire house. Yet when you sign up for the program, if you have insurance or are private pay, he charges you a monthly fee for food. Is that raping the government and insurance companies or what!? This place has so many lawsuits pending against them. Man, if you hear that name, A. LUJAN RECOVERY, run away as fast as you can!

  15. Beth says:

I have a daughter who can not stay clean and out of trouble. She did a year in jail, and missed alot of her babys first years of life. I thought a year in jail would do it, but it has not. She went back to the drugs and alcohol and is now in jail again. I am looking for a program that might take her from jail to the program. We live in the Bay Area. Her daughter is going to be 3 this next month, and she needs her mommy back, not in jail, but clean and sober and living right. Any ideas would be helpful
    thanks-Beth

  16. StephanieL says:

I’m a 23 year old woman who has been struggling with addiction to opiates for 2 years or so. I have been in a Methadone Treatment Program since April 6, 2009. I have been off of Oxycontin for almost one year now. Although, I do occasionally “dabble” in OCs for purely recreational use now, I have picked up a vicious alcohol problem. I am also a single mother of a 2 y/o and a 4 y/o- their dad is involved in their lives (ie: keeps them for about 24 hrs once per week and pays child support as well…). However, he is not capable of or necessarily willing to raise them for a month while I go through inpatient treatment. I moved back into my mother’s home about 6 weeks ago to provide a more stable and safe environment for my children. We have also become involved in church and attend every week. I am looking in to volunteering also. My faith has been a huge part of my recovery, because I know the God is by my side and with me every step of the way.
I had stopped drinking for a couple of weeks, and have started to drink every evening once again. Usually, I only drink about 3 of the 16oz Mike’s HardER Lemonade. It may not seem like a lot, but it has caused a lot of problems for myself and my family. I want to get clean once and for all, but am unable to seek out inpatient treatment at a rehab facility. The biggest obstacle is my children. My mother is not able to keep them because she works 6 days/week as an RN and is also immune compromised and receives plasma products once a week because of it.
I am willing to call around and find a place that fits my needs, but I just don’t seem to be having much luck with the internet so far-and it seems to be just about my only resource. I am open to suggestions. If anyone has any information on outpatient treatment-or maybe even an inpatient program that allows for your children to stay with you and provides child-care during activities(?)- I would really, really appreciate it! I look forward to any and all responses to this-and thank you in advance! =o) GOD BLESS!

  17. Desparately seeking help says:

    Hello
Not sure where to turn, the rehabs are so expensive. I have a daughter that uses i think whatever she can get her hands on, along with alcohol and xanax. She found her freind dead a week ago due to drug mixing, he had a cardiac arrest and they were unable to revive.I had not heard from here in over a year, she is coming to visit for 3 days and i need insight on how to handle this. She tells me things like i’m going to get my wine and cigarettes and ask for money on her way down to buy her wine and cigarettes and now says she is taking xanax, its the only thing that helps with her anxiety. She has respiratory problems as well, She has talked about suicide. she is 25. I know her friend could have been her. I fear for for life if she is not helped soon.

  18. Ron says:

My oldest son is an addict. His current drug of choice is Meth. He has lost everything and is homeless. Currently in jail in Riverside on a traffic warrent from north calif. I am looking for treatment options for him. he also suffers from borderline personality disorder. I am also an addict but have been clean for many years and come from a family that suffered from addiction. My sons wife is also an addict but feel she needs no help. I love my son and do not want to lose him. He and his wife have 2 daughters.

I have had a problem with addiction for 10 years and i really want to get sober, I do not have insurance and can not afford inpatient treatment. Does anyone know of a free drug rehab? It would really help.

  20. Tammy says:

Hi, I have a 23 year old son who addicted to drugs. I have no idea to what type. He had been missing for almost a year. Recently found him through police because he was on missing persons list. He was living on the streets in San Bernadino/Riverside for almost a year. He is currently still in California with family and does not want to return home. Mainly because he wants to continue doing drugs or other. He is clinging to a family member who is and has always been a horrible influence. I fear he will end up dead if he continues this path. I am at a loss as to how to help him into rehab. I have two daughters at home and not much money to keep flying to California to try and convince my son to come home or to get help. I am searching for a facility that could help him before its too late. I don’t want to lose my only son to addiction. It’s so hard dealing with this because I don’t know what or where to look for help. Any info would be deeply appreciated.
