Ambien

Ambien ( Zolpidem ), is used to treat sleep problems (insomnia). It may help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and reduce the number of times you awaken during the night. Zolpidem belongs to a class of drugs called sedative/hypnotics. It acts on your brain to produce a calming effect. Use is usually not recommended for more than a couple of weeks or so. Like any drug, if taken for extended periods of time, Ambien dependence can occur. Under the influence of Ambien, it is common for people to take more than is actually necessary because they have forgotten they already took it.

Some people have reported sleepwalking and in some cases binge eating, driving, sleep talking, and performing other daily tasks have been reported during sleep. The user can sometimes perform these tasks as though they were  awake. With Ambien abuse, it is taken orally, crushed   snorted , or cooked   for an intravenous injection. This has become a huge problem with teens.
